Liebster award Nominations and Questions

What is this Leibster Award, Am I worthy of it. Well don't answer that question for I wouldn't like it. It was just another Saturday evening and everything is set as per the specifications, suddenly I got a message from my brother saying that I was nominated for this award Boom my schedule has to be altered for something better (Thank you Bro). For one thing I would like to congratulate and appreciate my brother not for nominating me but just for being nominated by an anonymous person.I personally feel inspired by my brother Mr Sarma Veturi( although he wouldn't apprise it) I have written numerous discarded testimonials for his success hence this wasn't an exception. As far as this award is concerned what is the greatest appreciation that a blogger or writer expects from anyone? For that reason is writing about appreciation or expression? This unanswerable question remains to be a mystery to everyone who has the ability to read enthusiasm to write and comprehend in any language.

Frankly Speaking although I write vigorously in by blog there are a few number of blogs that i read regularly not since I was busy doing anything but I couldn't find where to follow and whom to follow. Hence my nominations here would be uncertain in the aspect of worthiness, but I can assure one thing to everyone that I feel a sense of respect for those who are gifted with the capability of emoting through writings. This may come as a surprise but answering, posing questions about his/her life is considered as a  greatest virtue  by any writer and kudos to the originator of this idea through the Leibster( No I don't know what Leibster Means) award. To avoid frustration in choosing the nominations I came up with an idea which goes like this starting from the one that nominated me in the first place I would be nominating the ones from each successive blogger. Congratulations to all these bloggers for being listed here. You deserve it. Now comes the time of Rapid Fire Round. Shoot

      1.    Which character from any work of fiction you can identify yourself the most with?

This is my favorite question and I would be very happy while answering it. From my childhood I was a great fan of the fictitious character Spiderman. The one that was adapted by Sam Raimi suits me the best. Although it seems a bit childish I always wanted to be a  sensible superhero like Spiderman and save the world from all bad deeds. In this context I remember a scene from my childhood where I asked my aunt to give me the Spider Man costume if anyone gifts her on her wedding. Everybody laughed at such an instance and at that point I couldn’t understand why.

Often I feel like crying while looking at the sensibilities and naiveties of Peter parker (Thanks to the honest portrayal of Toby McGuire) in winning his lady love. The saddest part is that being a superhero he never gets what he requires most starting from a glass of drink. Now that is too modest for a man like him. Holding the responsibility and doing the things that are supposed to be right in spite of being trapped by venom that arises from the inner self is the greatest challenge any person would encounter. Spider-man does this. And he is my superhero. I can identify myself with him.

       2.   What is your favorite movie and why?

There are a lot of favorite movies in variety of languages for me but films from my mother tongue telugu are all time favorites. A couple of films among them are Abhilasha and Gangleader. Reason is quite simple I like the genres Thriller, Action Very much. If you need quite more complex reasons and films I will start lecturing on 12 Angry men. :D

      3. What is your reading frequency?

A Book per a Month and sometimes the count will increase exponentially depending upon the season.

     4. What is the greatest challenge you face in writing?

The greatest challenge is to overcome laziness and write. I hardly experience Writers block

     5. What makes you a read a book? It’s Blurb? Review from a person you like? Cover    Page? Author’s Previous Works?

Some of the above factors seems to be little effective on a person like me since I read a book because I love reading. But sometimes I happen to pick up the books that are read by characters in a Movie, Television series, Plays etc. The best example is “Of Mice and Men” this was read by the character James Sawyer Ford in TV Series LOST.

      6. What are your reading patterns?

I am not sure whether or not that I understand this question. But if I may guess it’s regarding postures I love reading in the chair on the top of a building.

7.How do you fight Bloggers Block?

I write whatever comes to my mind at that moment and simply put open to suggestions and improvisations in the end of my post.

     8. Do you think setting yourself target works in writing?

Speaking of the end results it should work. Productivity can be achieved through constant practice and targets make us active. If you take too much time to write considering the outcome meditation is better than writing. If writing is a form of expression targets are orientations towards expression.

      9. How important do you think grammar is in writing? Especially in English?

That depends on what you are aspiring for. When you want to narrate a story grammar plays little role and errors that creep out can be overlooked.

     10. What time of the day is the most conducive for you to right?

Early in the morning 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM

Here are my nominations. Once again congratulations to all of you. Although I don’t personally know some of you I wish you all success in your future writings.

    8.    Who according to you is noble?
    9.    Who is your favorite fictitious character and why?
    10.  In whose presence do you feel most comfortable?

Book Review- The Lowland- Jhumpa Lahiri

The Pretty False Intellectuals.

Why do we ever write or read a novel? Is it to show someone that we are capable or reading or writing? Is it to satisfy inherent passion towards literature? Is it to earn money or Pulitzer, Noble Peace, Booker Prizes? Do we need to satisfy the readers or to satisfy ourselves? What is the prime motto? Are we contributing to the world or to only ourselves? Does our work show satisfaction or dissatisfaction? Are we happy after, before or during the reading of the book by ourselves as well as the readers? If any of these questions arise in your mind prior to  the purchase of this book I would recommend to stay as far as possible to this utterly ridiculous false work of a desperate dispassionate unethical cynical woman.

The only thing the author of The Lowland cared is to portray dissatisfaction and hatred along the way the characters in this novel travel. The story is just plain simple as our life goes with  fictional intellectuals scattered all round the world not knowing what knowledge really means or to utilize it their benefit or to the benefit of others. The entire novel is a delightful hotchpotch of beautiful landscapes, Slums, Beaches, Palm Springs, Vermillion, Naxalbari Uprising, The principles of communism, Mao,Marx,Lenin, Literature,Metaphysics, Schopenhauer and other stuff that stimulate the Green Card holders still having their dual citizenship. I mean do we need all this stuff. Isn't available on the open source, are you completely out of imagination only to be dependent on unfortunate reality.

Given the span of the novel one expects a subtle with genuine characters that somehow one can correlate with, but to our surprise what we get is a self-sustained individuals seriously craving for love only to realize the lust behind it and to hate themselves at a later stage. After the act of repentance only they could do is concentrate more on their academics to write a book , to research on something, to create love or to go back to the only place in the world that made them who they are. No Seriously mam you lost your every right to land in our place due to your supreme intelligence which is a sheer waste considering the outcomes of it because we are concerned in a collective growth but not in homosexuality and acts that are unnatural so as to prove that we are capable of dominating orthodoxy. The 370 pages of the work looks more like a thesis(that the author feels so certain about winning) rather than a joy to read.

At times we like the characters in the book but its temporary until the author fails them through her inconsistent methods of life. There is a point where we get a liking for the Character Bela(The daughter of Subhash) due to her hardworking and innovative ways of cultivation but it is ruined by the author when she introduces Bela’s pregnancy and reluctance to accept the father of her child. Bela wants to raise the kid on her own, I mean AYFKM we don’t bring kids into the world since we have the capability and a safe place to live. Is this some kind of petting? How can we give love to someone if we are uncertain of ourselves to receive it from someone else? It is best to raise a puppy instead of giving birth.

The entire book is pointless from the beginning till the end. Do you need entertainment or something to keep you going thinking that there is happiness in the world? My suggestion stay away from this work and read comics or eat healthy food. This work only spreads misery, cold-eyed romance, wrong thinking, resentment, stupidity. None of the characters in the book are worth remembering they only make you feel sorry for themselves and yourselves for reading about them. Finally Mam in your own words You are as dead to me as Udayan. This is my first and last read of the works of Jhumpa Lahiri The Pretty False Intellectual. I now realize that winning a Pulitzer Prize is as easy as shitting in your restroom.

An unintentional confession

Is it necessary for anyone to confess for the simple reason of appealing to others. Often when we fail we try to explain ourselves to others or sit in a lonely corner worrying over a contemplation. What is it we need intelligence., knowledge, acknowledgement , passion, success, pride, innovation, fortitude, progress, collective progress, love and suffering of others or ourselves, philosophy , god. Nothing from the above matters at all when we are unable to avoid confessions and introspections either in a group or in a church.

The greatest sin ever committed by an individual is being born as a human being for which there is no looking back. Yet here we are worrying over futility and intentionally finding reasons to be unhappy in spite of a plenty of constant natural sources of joy. The inherent trait of being happy at all times with little amount of materials is what makes us human. There are two things in the world which are the constant pursuits of mankind over ages needless to say those are love and hatred. And nothing better than history that offers results as examples to let us know what happens if we perpetually harness either of them.

Do you think life is gloomy. Watch the sunrise. Do you think life is desolate. Try petting. Do you think you are ignorant. Feel happy since you are not a culprit in nagasaki attacks. Do you feel that you are lacking something. Complete your life with innocence. Do you feel people are ignorant. Use your simulations for your own productivity. Do you want to love someone and be acknowledged. Stay away from them. Aren't you satisfied with the way things are going around you. Eat your favourite food happily and sleep when the clock strikes 10. Do you want to be blessed. Do not pray. Do you feel that you are a loser. Think about a stage of your life as an unborn child.

Source of happiness is limitless only perception of it differs from person to person. So in a world of ultimate sources there shouldn't be any scope for thoughts, confessions or misconceptions and miseries. After all everyone of deserve the right to be happy for being brought up into a god forsaken world. Love you all.

Life with Detachment, Pragmatism and Derivative Integration

This festive season everyone (to the best of my knowledge) witnessed a sense of tedium in terms of every ongoing act in their life. This provokes me to believe that the funniest, infuriating, ironical thing that ever comes to anyone’s mind is the disinterest and the materialistic nature which is not at all recommended to eradicate a possible outcome of being dominated by simulated brain. There are a plenty of times now a days where I feel that my childhood is the greatest blessing since it gave me a lot of opportunities to experience a completely bio degradable and joyous life. I often wondered that is there any possibility for a person to completely influence, lead and empower a group of individuals by means of love, attachment, command, authority, courage, supremacy and diplomacy, but I can Ascertain confidently that I have already witnessed such happening in my life which makes me gifted. And for the coming of ages I still keep on speculating if we might call such person as a god or a god father.

When I was at the age of 10 I used to receive a quarter piece of Cent for Performing certain household tasks which at that moment seemed to me as a greatest achievement as reaching mount Everest, nevertheless right now I am having loads (and someone like me might be having crores) which doesn't seem to me as piece of trash in a pile of garbage. People are squandering resources in search and pursuit of lost time and happiness yet their attempts never are successful as all one can get is nothing but plastic smile and a copper plate. The greatest mistake every individual does in their life is to give utmost importance to machines rather than men and it is a miserable fact that machines do reciprocate with a greater level of productivity. Keeping aside the borders and ethics one should accept that to lead a happy life as per the free will is the fundamental right of everybody born on this planet. Some amazing miscalculations and misinterpretations are perceived by today’s people as their greatest endeavors which might be termed as an utter ridicule.

The truth that nothing lasts forever and there is a need for coexistence in the universe which is a biological fact cannot be altered with an exception for the machinery. It often occurred to me that to be happy is moral or to make someone happy is moral or together being happy is moral or for that reason do machines have a morality. This question is never answered by any individual and even Sigmund Freud might fear to state this in his interpretation of dreams.  The intentional behavior of an individual is quite puzzling now a day since the reason for a person to be happy is never comprehensible for the outsiders. There are terms like greater people and lesser people in the world which in turn are created by greater or lesser people or both so it is extremely complex to establish one’s act good or bad based on the judge’s perspective.

In this context there exists a phase called derivative integration which calls for mutual association of the individuals in close contact with nature and technology. The application is quite simple every machine needs a person to run and every person needs second person to survive and cooperate in order to harmonize. Machines can’t direct humanity with another machine but human mind can dominate machinery with the help of fellow beings to make them his slave. Without any second thought the accomplishment in the twenty first century one can achieve is none other than the machinery itself. Adam and Eve might happy without an I-pad but they might have missed the fun of tagging and being photographed through a megapixel. Finally my noble request to everybody is to make time for the people and gather in a crowd to party the hell out of boom boxes until they fail to operate. This is life we will never get a second one.
